New Site Design

Don’t be alarmed! Rune Secrets has a new look. Over the coming days, a few tweaks will be added here and there, and content old and new will be updated to make it more easily accessible.

You can now find the most recent comments at the very bottom of each page, and you can now follow Rune Secrets on Twitter, and share articles on any of the hundreds of social networking sites using ‘Add This’ at the bottom of each article. Easy printing and emailing features still exist for your convenience!

Enjoy, and thanks for supporting this project with your readership!

The site looks great tyriel. I really like it. Keep up the good work. :-)

Are you still working on it Tyriel? To be honest I find the changes a bit confusing, especially finding recent comments. They don’t apear to show the dates in the list, so its hard to see which are actually new - anyway to make that clearer I wonder?

  3. Tyriel says:

    I’m not done yet now.

But… comments never did show the dates in the list.. they only show dates once you’re on the article commented upon. There are two columns, from the most recent to the least recent, 15 past comments in all. It’s a makeshift system but I think it’s the best I can do for now, without implementing a completely new system (which may come in time).

Maybe we can get twitter going for people: that’s a new experiment, but seems a popular one lately.

  4. Tyriel says:

Okay, Recent Comments are now in the sidebar, similar to where they were before. A maximum of 15 show up; I think this system worked on the other design so we’ll keep it and I’ll do something else with the footer at the bottom.

Jessica: the symbol is called the Valknut, and it represents the nine worlds and the endless mystery of the runes.
